Description

Our private guided tour to the Hunter Valley Wine Region is a day trip from Sydney. Pick up is from anywhere in metropolitan Sydney at approximately 7:30am. The drive to the Hunter Valley is approximately 2 hours. During your wine tour we'll visit up to four wineries with cheese and chocolate factory options. Lunch will be at the restaurant of your choice (not included). This tour is approximately 10 to 11 hours in duration and we aim to get you back to Sydney at approximately 6:30pm. This is a day trip tour departing in the morning from Sydney (pick up from Sydney metropolitan area) to the Hunter Valley wine country returning to Sydney early evening. The finer details including your choice of wineries (preferred grape varieties) and a lunch restaurant will be chosen to fit your tastes. The Hunter Valley is Australia's oldest wine making region that is located just over 2 hours drive from Sydney. With over 150 wineries and a range of grape types including Chardonnay, Semillion, Verdelho, Shiraz and Merlot, there is an abundance of wine loving varieties to sample and enjoy. We'll choose up to 4 vineyards to visit with a cheese or chocolate tasting option should the third vineyard become a little too much. Visiting the historical town of Wollombi on the way to the vineyards is an option for those interested seeing a country town almost lost in time. It’s a great place for coffee and snack. Should you choose this option we'll discover the towns quaint modern day reality while learning about its' interesting past.
